Golden raisins (MALAYERI RAISINS )
- Description
Description
This type of raisin, similar to Sultanas, undergoes various stages of preparation. The only difference between Malayeri raisin and Sultana raisin is that Malayeri is lighter in color (hence the name Light Sultana). It was originally produced in Malayer, and it takes its name from there. It should be noted that although Malayeri type is lighter in color, it contains less sugar and is not as sweet as Sultana.
Raisins are rich in iron, potassium, calcium and B vitamins; On the other hand, raisins have antioxidant properties and prevent cell destruction.
Despite their small size, raisins are packed with energy and rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Raisins are naturally sweet and high in sugar and calories, but they’re beneficial to our health when eaten in moderation. In fact, raisins can aid digestion, boost iron levels, and keep your bones strong.
